By shaving a few days off the delivery time, 'Same-Day Shipment' orders can often arrive before the next Category 5 Hurricane makes landfall, said Hoch. Electric Generators Direct will provide customers with a tracking number so they can track the status of their order in real time. Roads may be closed or inaccessible during a disaster. Therefore, the company cannot guarantee an exact delivery date for each order. Electric Generators Direct will continue to offer the Factory Direct service.
